Pros

The 17th-century architecture features cosy bars with crooked walls and low beams.

The restaurant offers a seasonal menu, including a full English breakfast and festive dining options.

Two meeting rooms with free WiFi provide functional spaces for business or events.

The enclosed garden allows for outdoor dining during warmer months.

Proximity to Banbury's key attractions like Banbury Museum and Castle Quay Shopping Centre.

Cons

Some rooms only have shower facilities, with baths available upon request.

The central high street location may result in occasional noise from nearby traffic.

“In my opinion, the staff truly stand out, consistently earning praise for their friendliness and helpfulness. The hotel's central Banbury location and free parking add considerable value. While the building shows its age, the communal areas are comfortable, and the food appears to be a highlight.”
